Astander replaces paper work orders with Origamee and AI
Shipbuilding sector · Shipyard · Alimia Group

The Astander shipyard, part of the Alimia Group, has replaced its paper work orders with Origamee, the Evenbytes platform, powered by artificial intelligence: today it tracks every material from receipt to destination and knows the real cost of each repair.
The challenge
At the shipyard, materials were managed with paper work orders, with no real traceability of each material’s journey and no connection to the corporate ERP. This led to duplication, errors and information loss across the supply chain.
The solution
Using Origamee, Evenbytes digitised the work orders, together with their drawings and diagrams, using AI. This delivered:
- Full traceability of every material, from receipt to final destination.
- Control of the real cost of repairs.
- Synchronisation with the ERP for stock and quality control.
Results
- Goodbye to paper work orders, and fewer manual errors.
- Full traceability of the materials used, for quality control.
- Advanced inventory control.
- Visibility of the real cost of each repair.
- Faster decisions thanks to Power BI integration.
